Your health and safety is paramount.

Little Joe's Tavern has always upheld the highest standards of service, safety and cleanliness in our restaurants, and there are a number of additional health and safety measures we’ve implemented in order to keep our team and our guests as safe as possible.

We are following guidance from the Michigan Restaurant and Lodging Association (MRLA) to help Michigan restaurants operate safely amid federal and state regulations. The MRLA has combined guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Federal Drug Administration (FDA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Restaurant Association (NRA), Executive Orders from Governor Gretchen Whitmer and our work with the Michigan Economic Recovery Council (MERC).

We are going to great lengths to keep our staff and guests safe as we all adjust to this new normal.

WHAT WE ASK OF OUR GUESTS:

Please wear face coverings. Face coverings are required for all guests to enter the building. Once you are seated at your table, you may remove them.

Practice social distancing. To minimize interactions, we ask that you practice social distancing of at least 6 feet inside the restaurant and while you’re waiting to be seated. If there is a wait, we ask that you wait in your car or outside, and we will notify you when your table is ready.

Please provide us with your name and phone number. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) now requires all bars and restaurants to collect this information from customers. Your information is only being collected – and will only be utilized – for contract tracing purposes if necessary. We are collecting as required and will NOT share this information with anyone outside the health department, and only if necessary.

FOR YOUR HEALTH & SAFETY
WHEN YOU’RE INSIDE

We are operating at a reduced capacity but have given thoughtful consideration to social distancing requirements. We will seat our guests to ensure proper social distancing.

Hand sanitizer is available in the lobby for guests as they enter and leave the building.

We have implemented many new safety procedures for our staff, including staff health screening, masks, hourly sanitation checklists as well as updated procedures for thorough disinfection of all areas after staff and guest use.

Our restaurant has also installed a new REME-HALO UV air purification system for added protection. This state-of-the-art system sends ionized hydroperoxides into high-traffic areas to attack and destroy impurities in every cubic foot of air that’s circulating. The result is maximized air purification and filtration. Watch a video here to learn more about how the system works in commercial buildings.

The restaurant is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized throughout the day. Our team performs an hourly sanitation checklist. This allows for frequent cleaning and disinfecting in high touch areas, such as phones, touch screens, door handles, faucets, counter tops and any work surfaces.

Tables and chairs and bar tops are thoroughly sanitized after each guest’s use.

OUR MENUS

We will have a variety of ways for you to view our menus: single use menus are available, contactless menus can be viewed from your mobile phone at littlejoestavern.com.com, and QR codes are provided inside the restaurant.

As always, our daily specials will be listed on our website and on the chalkboards in our restaurants.

CARRYOUT / CURBSIDE PICK UP

For those who are not comfortable dining in, our menu items are available for carryout. As always, we carefully prepare and package each dish so it will travel well.

OUR TEAM

Our entire team has been trained on our Covid-19 Preparedness and Response Plan. This includes all sanitation and safety measures recommended by the CDC, Governor’s Executive Orders and the Genesee County Health Department.

Upon entering the building, all employees and vendors receive a health screening, including temperature checks, and subject to mandatory face coverings when in the building. Anyone with a fever or exhibiting any symptoms is not to be permitted in.

Hand sanitizer is available throughout the restaurant for staff use.

Little Joe's Tavern has implemented leave policies that promote staff staying home when they or any member of their household is sick or when required by a health care provider to isolate or quarantine themselves or members of their household.

THANK YOU!

We are truly excited to be doing what we love, and we hope you’ll be patient and accommodating as we do all that we can to safely serve you.
